Program Information

At South Breeze the program grows along with your camper. Our programs are designed to meet the social, physical, and developmental needs of each age group. Beginning with our youngest group, where the emphasis is on participation and sharing, through our oldest group, where the emphasis is on skill building, program choice, and leadership, the South Breeze program is designed to encourage campers to learn and try new thing in a fun and supportive environment.

Starfish (Ages 4-5)

Our Starfish (ages 4-5) have special programs, facilities and equipment designed just for them. Activities, from traditional sports, crafts, nature and music, to our unique Lego Lab, give each child a rich and exciting experience. Campers develop large and small motor skills, an understanding of sports, creativity and imagination with the guidance, instruction and support of our trained preschool staff

Lower Camp (Campers Entering Grades 1-2)

Campers entering grades 1 and 2, participate in a wide variety of Sports, Creative Arts, Performing Arts and other engaging activities, with an emphasis on quality instruction, creative expression, teamwork and friendship. A highlight of the lower camp experience is an introduction to our “Club” elective program, in which campers have the opportunity to customize their schedule for an hour each day and focus on a favorite activity or learn a new one.

Upper Camp (Campers Entering Grades 3-8)

Campers entering grades 3 – 8, choose from an endless variety of sports, arts and adventure at South Breeze.  Expert instruction, creative expression, teamwork and friendship continue to be the foundation of the program. Add a wider selection of “club” electives and more time to explore them and it’s the perfect program for our older campers. With two “Club” periods everyday, campers can customize their South Breeze experience to create the program that best suits their interests!  Our oldest campers also enjoy taking a leadership role in our weekly “spirit day” activities.
